Just a quickie today. Granted, it took ages to make, but meh! I will buck the trend slightly and offer some quick advice: always draw something before you go ahead and make it, even if it’s just a simple sketch. It’ll give you so much focus when you’re actually in the process of creating it.

OH MY WHERE DID THIS SPRING FROM
Now he’s a lot more like that concept sketch I drew a little while back! Also, there’s this:
Yet another logo update:
The studios bit I still have to deal with, but I think the Scrub bit is done. For now. Until I find something that’s wrong with it. Which is inevitable.
Yay, posts!
Here’s two photos. Taken with a camera.

And also, this!
Workity workity work work work. Here’s an Illustrator version of the boy from yesterday. He looks a little…creepy?
I might try doing a quick mock-up in 3D to see if he looks better. I have a feeling he will. It’s possible! Maybe?
Now, a logo update:
Also, here’s another photo!
Experimenting a bit more with the camera. Tried shooting out in the street with only a streetlight. Did a bit of Photoshop post-processing. It was a completely spur of the moment kind of thing, and it was quite hard to shoot as well! It was pretty dark, and trying to gauge focus in the dark is darn hard! Still, I’m relatively pleased with the result. Relatively! (And that’s my brother with his JS1000 Ibanez guitar).
It’s back to new logo design! Since I have no imagination, I’ve just started ultra-tidying the existing logo. Lookie!
Now, there are subtle differences! First up, much thicker strokes. Two, the lines are so much tidier and more even. The original Illustrator characters were full of vertices for the curves of the letters. I’ve removed a whole heap of them, so it’s easier to smooth. Then, some extra Photoshop trickery: figured it was time to make the colour more uniform. More soon! MAYBE.
Just an icon I’m working on for a friend today:
Not finished yet, obviously. I’m basically working to what he wants, so yeah. We’re thinking that it needs to be somewhat more unique. More soon, perhaps?
