A little rough, but it’s a start:
It looks like he might be watching something! Hmm, who knows…
Some notes:
1. Wall-E on Blu-ray = SPECTACULAR
2. Coraline = UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME
3. As a result of number 2, I’m so getting a Coraline doll of some kind
4. The fact that my Blu-ray player isn’t sending a signal to my monitor = very crappy (and I’m hoping it’s just the cable)
I think he may be done!
Today’s quote comes from Woody in Toy Story. And I sure hope you knew that already!
Today’s title comes from the online webcomic “Least I Could Do: Beginnings”. I got the book today, which I assume has been sitting on my doorstep for at least a few days. Totally worth the wait though: the comics are oversized, high-quality and it’s a hard-cover. And they only made 500! People, I own a piece of history!
Updatez!
UPDATE: Another update!
UPDATE AGAIN: Updates! WOO UPDATE
UPDATE: OH MAN IT DOESN’T END
OH MY WHERE DID THIS SPRING FROM
Now he’s a lot more like that concept sketch I drew a little while back! Also, there’s this:
Workity workity work work work. Here’s an Illustrator version of the boy from yesterday. He looks a little…creepy?
I might try doing a quick mock-up in 3D to see if he looks better. I have a feeling he will. It’s possible! Maybe?
Now, a logo update:
Also, here’s another photo!
Experimenting a bit more with the camera. Tried shooting out in the street with only a streetlight. Did a bit of Photoshop post-processing. It was a completely spur of the moment kind of thing, and it was quite hard to shoot as well! It was pretty dark, and trying to gauge focus in the dark is darn hard! Still, I’m relatively pleased with the result. Relatively! (And that’s my brother with his JS1000 Ibanez guitar).
Busy day at work today. Also, I met Dick Johnson. But enough about that!
Another drawing today: I’m still working on the ‘learn how to draw thing’.
Well, the main things that suck about this is her dimensions (which I believe is related to the very bad position I’m in when I draw) and her eyes (which I’ll try and fix when I get a dang sharpened pencil!). Again, it’s another bit of concept art for Boo.
