Just a quickie today. Granted, it took ages to make, but meh! I will buck the trend slightly and offer some quick advice: always draw something before you go ahead and make it, even if it’s just a simple sketch. It’ll give you so much focus when you’re actually in the process of creating it.
I really do love this Ant, the wood stock is awesome, I love how it all kind of blends in together and the swirl is awesome.. it reminds me of this author/illustrator that would make collage pictures instead of drawing, they really looked beautiful… I just wish I could remember the names of the books…
